An internal courtyard brings daylight into the middle of the plan, which is rare at this size and the reason this type reads brighter than its floor area suggests.
The second floor belongs to one bedroom: its own bathroom and a terrace of roughly 3.05 by 6.40 metres. It works as a teenager's floor, a guest suite or an office that is genuinely separate from the house.
There is no ground-floor bedroom. Type D-4BR is the four bedroom that has one — and it is the larger of the two.
